Air Conditioner
A cooling system that removes heat and humidity from indoor air and transfers it outside, keeping your home comfortable during hot weather.
What Is a Air Conditioner?
A central air conditioner works by circulating refrigerant between an indoor evaporator coil and an outdoor condenser unit. The refrigerant absorbs heat from your indoor air at the evaporator coil, carries it outside, and releases it at the condenser. The cooled air is then distributed through your ductwork. Air conditioners are rated by their SEER (efficiency) and tonnage (cooling capacity). Proper sizing is critical — too large and you get humidity problems, too small and it can't keep up.
Why It Matters for Your Home
Southern Oregon summers can get hot, and a properly functioning AC system is essential for comfort. If your air conditioner is running constantly, making unusual noises, or not cooling evenly, those are signs something needs attention. Regular maintenance extends the life of your system and keeps it running efficiently.
